All tracks lead to brilliance with the new BT-50. From a winding tarmac to the most rugged track, BT-50 is the most comfy, powerful, stylish Mazda truck ever… with heaps of grunt!

It’s very sporty too, but also tough and capable to meet the most challenging of adventures, both work and play. BT-50 provides you with a special experience, and we call it ‘Zoom-Zoom’.

Built with all the latest features for the discerning driver, it’s available in a multitude of chassis configurations to made it versatile to meet your every application.

In the 4x2, you can take your pick from the Single Cab Chassis DX, Freestyle Cab Chassis DX+, Freestyle Cab Ute DX+ and the Dual Cab Ute DX model. Too hard to choose from? Wait til you see the options in the 4x4!

The 4x4 comes in a model to cover everybody’s work and play requirements. From the Single Cab Chassis DX, the Freestyle Cab Chassis DX+, Freestyle Cab Ute DX+, Freestyle Cab Ute SDX, the Dual Cab Chassis DX, the Dual Cab Ute DX and SDX. You’ll find a BT-50 that perfectly suits your lifestyle. Work and Play.

Mazda BT-50 delivers awesome grunt with it’s new generation 2.5 and 3.0 litre DOHC, 16 valve turbo intercooled diesel engines featuring common-rail direct-injection fuel systems.

A Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT) cuts turbo lag and boosts power, and large intercoolers improve cooling for maximum turbo durability and performance. Simply put, the BT-50’s engines are responsive and refined with plenty of pulling power, right throughout the rev range.

The precise combustion of common-rail injection also means you’ll go further between petrol stations. This efficiency helps cut emissions, which are further reduced by an Exhaust Gas Recirculation system (EGR). Towing capacity for all 3.0L models is 3,000kg* with manual transmission and 2,500kg* with auto; whilst the 2.5L variants with manual transmission call pull 2,250Kg*. *Gross Combined Maxx (GCM) must not be exceeded. When towing more than 1,800kg, a load-levelling device must be fitted, or when the towbar download exceeds 180kg.

Superior safety enhancements are yours to savour, including ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) on most 3.0L Models.  And all models are equipped with a Load Sensing Proportioning Valve (LSPV), to optimise rear braking according to vehicle load.

This technically advanced stylish workhorse has too many features to describe here, but here’s a few to wet your appetite…

  • Across all vehicles you’ll find the powerful five speed manual transmission, and NOW with a choice of 5 speed auto transmissions in the 4x2 Dual Cab Ute DX, the 4x4 Freestyle Cab Ute SDX, and Dual Cab Utes DX and SDX;
  • Front mudflaps, Halogen Headlamps, electronic odometer/tripmeter and Tachometer;
