The newly developed 2.0 litre engine is more powerful than its predecessor and is mounted closer to the car’s centre, meaning more superior handling. The larger capacity engine is housed in an engine block that’s actually smaller, due to the revised design of the Sequential Valve Timing (S-VT) system. It’s also 19kgs lighter, thanks to an aluminium cylinder block!
