The next generation Mazda RX-8 offers originality and pure driving pleasure that only a true sports car can offer. However, at the same time it is a sports car that can be enjoyed by families or four adults.

The RX-8 embraces Mazda’s stylish, insightful and spirited brand DNA, and was conceived around three key criteria: distinctive design, exceptional functionality and brilliant handling and performance.

The RENESIS rotary engine is smaller than the previous Mazda rotary engine, and it is not turbocharged, but yet it produces more power.

The RX-8 provides exhilarating acceleration, offering a choice of standard power (154kW) with automatic transmission that includes Activematic manual shift and wheel-mounted paddles, or a high-power unit with 184kW a mated to a slick-shifting six-speed manual.

Mazda designers employed the latest computer techniques along with crash test data to assure safety in the event of a side collision.

And just to ensure that the RX-8 is a sports car like no other, it has enough luggage space for two couples!
