Outback’s 3.0 litre DOHC Boxer Engine features Active Valve Control System (AVCS) and Variable Valve Lift, ensuring optimum power and torque output across the operating range, complemented by low exhaust emissions to help preserve our valuable environment. The six cylinder engine produces 180 kilowatts of power at 6600rpm and a mightly 297 Newtonmetres of toque at 4200rpm. This means your Outback is capable of towing an impressive 1800 kilograms - ideal for that new boat trailer, or a medium sized caravan for your outback adventures!
