EuroNCAP/ANCAP 5 star crash ratings awarded forsome models
The Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) was formed to provide independent and consistent information for consumers on vehicle occupant protection in 1992. It published its first results in 1993. The results include comparative ratings on how well a vehicle is likely to protect its occupants & pedestrians in collisions. The occupant rating & pedestrian ratings are out of 5 stars and 4 stars respectively.
